The "Lobethal" English Bridle Watch Strap
This watch strap is named after one of the small towns nestled in the Adelaide hills, a scenic part of Adelaide which is dotted with trees and where every year, during Christmas the whole town is beautifully lit up with Christmas lights as part of a long-standing tradition.
These straps are made from English Bridle leather - a very high quality leather that is naturally preserved and treated with greases and waxes in a labour intensive process designed to create a durable finish and rich colour that ages beautifully with time. I make these straps to order using natural and environmentally friendly products, they are hand stitched and the edges are beautifully finished off with gum tragacanth and beeswax. The Lobethal watch straps are made from the top grain of an English Bridle hide, they are padded with a layer of veg tan leather, hand saddle stitched, can be made in either straight or tapered styles and are finished off with high quality stainless steel buckles.
